Igor Sergeev

Igor Vladimirovich Sergeev is an Uzbek professional striker born on 30 April 1993 in Tashkent. Uzbekistan's most prolific international goalscorer, he has earned 84 caps and 25 goals and was voted the country's Footballer of the Year.

Sergeev began his career with Pakhtakor Tashkent in 2011 and has since played across Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, Thailand, and Iran. He finished as Uzbek Super League top scorer with 24 goals in 2015 and repeated the feat with 20 goals in 2025. He joined Persepolis in January 2026 on a deal that made him one of the highest-profile Uzbek players abroad.

He emerged on the international stage at the 2012 AFC U-19 Championship, finishing as top scorer with 7 goals. He represented Uzbekistan at the 2015 and 2023 AFC Asian Cups and was included in the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad, bringing his senior tally to 84 caps and 25 goals.
