Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah is an Egyptian right winger and national-team captain whose European career has made him one of the country's most prominent footballers. He left Liverpool after the 2025-26 season following a record-laden nine-year spell.

Salah began with Al Mokawloon before moving to Basel, then joined Chelsea and rebuilt momentum through productive spells at Fiorentina and Roma. Liverpool signed him in 2017, and he became a central figure in Premier League and Champions League title-winning teams.

He debuted for Egypt in 2011, played at the 2012 Olympics and 2018 World Cup, and captained the senior side. Egypt reached the Africa Cup of Nations final in both 2017 and 2021 during his international career.
