Nuno Mendes

Nuno Mendes is a Portuguese left-back at Paris Saint-Germain, one of the most complete defenders of his generation. He was named the best player at the 2024–25 UEFA Nations League and has been a mainstay in PSG's historic back-to-back Champions League winning sides.

Mendes burst onto the scene at Sporting CP at age 18 following Marcos Acuña's departure, winning the Primeira Liga and Taça da Liga in 2020–21. PSG brought him on loan in August 2021 and signed him permanently for €38 million in June 2022.

At PSG he has won five Ligue 1 titles and back-to-back Champions League trophies in 2025 and 2026. Internationally, he debuted for Portugal in March 2021, featured at Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup, and won the Nations League in 2024–25.
