Yannick Semedo

Yannick Semedo is a Cape Verdean midfielder who won the Liga Portugal 2 title with Santa Clara in 2023–24 and currently plays for S.C. Farense in Portugal's second tier. He earned his first senior cap for Cape Verde in 2022.

Semedo began his career in Cape Verde before moving to Portugal in 2014, progressing through clubs including Marítimo B, União Madeira and Beira-Mar. A move to Vilaverdense in 2022 helped earn promotion to Liga Portugal 2, and he subsequently won the second-division title with Santa Clara in 2023–24 before joining Farense.

He made his Cape Verde debut in a friendly against Ecuador on 11 June 2022 and has since earned 11 caps with 1 goal, including a place in the 2026 World Cup squad.
