La historia
Alexis Vega is a Mexican winger and captain of Toluca FC, known for his pace and directness on the flanks. He has been a regular fixture in the Mexico national team since 2019, earning over 50 caps.
Vega came through the Toluca youth system and made his Liga MX debut before a move to Guadalajara, where he spent five seasons becoming one of the league's most prominent wide forwards. He returned to Toluca in 2024 and led the club to back-to-back Liga MX titles in 2025, winning the MVP award in the Clausura.
At international level he was part of the Mexico squad that won the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2019 and 2025, and he also claimed a Nations League title. He represented Mexico at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, helping the side win a bronze medal.
