Armando González

Armando González is a young Mexican forward who has emerged as one of Liga MX's most prolific scorers at Guadalajara, finishing as the Apertura 2025 joint top scorer with 12 goals.

González began his professional career with Tapatío, Guadalajara's affiliate club, making his debut in November 2020. He stepped up to the Chivas first team in January 2024 and quickly became a key attacking threat, earning Liga MX MVP honours in both the Apertura 2025 and Clausura 2026 tournaments.

He made his senior Mexico debut in November 2025 and was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
