Carlos Acevedo

Carlos Acevedo is a Mexican goalkeeper who has spent his entire club career with Santos Laguna, earning a Liga MX title in 2018 and later becoming the club's captain.

Acevedo made his Liga MX debut for Santos Laguna in August 2016 and steadily grew into the first-choice keeper, helping the club win the Clausura 2018 championship. He was appointed captain in 2021 and has accumulated close to 200 league appearances for the club.

He received his first Mexico senior call-up in December 2021 and made his national team debut shortly after, going on to earn seven caps including a place in the 2024 Copa América squad.
