Emam Ashour

Emam Ashour is an Egyptian midfielder who plays for Al Ahly and can also be used in wide attacking roles. His club career has included title-winning spells with both Zamalek and Al Ahly.

Ashour began with Ghazl El Mahalla, spent time on loan at Haras El Hodoud, and established himself at Zamalek before a short move to Danish club Midtjylland.

He returned to Egypt with Al Ahly in 2023 and has since added domestic and continental honours. At international level, he won the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations and later joined the senior Egypt team.
