Géronimo Rulli

Gerónimo Rulli is an Argentine goalkeeper who plays for Olympique de Marseille in Ligue 1 and serves as a backup for Argentina's national team. Known for his composure and distribution, he has played across Spain, England, and France during his career.

Rulli came through the Estudiantes academy in his home city of La Plata before moving to Spain, where he spent the bulk of his career at Real Sociedad (2014–2017) and later Villarreal (2020–2023). He won the UEFA Europa League with Villarreal in 2020–21, saving the decisive penalty in the shoot-out against Manchester United.

After a season at Ajax, he joined Olympique de Marseille in 2024. He was a squad member of Argentina's 2022 FIFA World Cup-winning team and won the Copa América in 2024, though his international appearances have been limited given competition from Emiliano Martínez.
