Haji Wright

Haji Wright is an American striker who joined Coventry City in 2023 for a club-record fee. He built his career across multiple European leagues before earning regular international recognition with the United States.

Wright began his professional journey with the New York Cosmos before developing in Germany at Schalke 04. He subsequently played in the Netherlands, Denmark, and Turkey — spending two seasons at Antalyaspor in the Süper Lig — before Coventry City paid a club-record €9 million to sign him in 2023.

He made his senior international debut in 2022 and participated in both the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2024 Copa América, accumulating 20 caps and 7 goals for the United States.
