Hugo Sochůrek

Czech prodigy midfielder born in 2008 who became the youngest player in Czech Republic history during a 2026 World Cup warm-up match. Joined Sparta Prague's academy in 2020 and made his first-team debut in the 2025–26 season.

Sochůrek began with FC Silon Táborsko's youth side before moving to Sparta Prague's academy in 2020. He progressed rapidly through the age groups, accumulating 36 caps across Czech Under-16 to Under-19 squads. He made his senior Sparta Prague debut during the 2025–26 Czech First League campaign.

He was called into the Czech senior squad for the 2026 World Cup warm-up match against Kosovo in May 2026, becoming the youngest player ever to represent the Czech Republic at senior level. He was subsequently included in the final 26-man World Cup squad.
