La historia
A two-footed left winger from Split who spent seven years at Inter Milan and became one of Croatia's all-time great contributors at major tournaments, holding the national record for most goal contributions in tournament football.
Perišić developed in Belgium at Club Brugge before moving into German football with Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg. He became a key figure at Inter Milan over seven years (2015–2022), adapting from winger to wing-back under Antonio Conte and helping the club win their first Serie A title in over a decade in 2020–21. A season on loan at Bayern Munich yielded the Champions League in 2019–20.
For Croatia, Perišić is the record holder for the most goal contributions at major tournaments, and scored 10 goals in those competitions. He was instrumental in the 2018 World Cup final run and the 2022 third-place finish. Now at PSV Eindhoven, he won back-to-back Eredivisie titles in 2024–25 and 2025–26.
