La historia

Kai Havertz is a German forward who plays for Arsenal and the Germany national team. Versatile and technically accomplished, he is best known for scoring the winning goal in the 2021 UEFA Champions League final and has developed into one of Europe's leading attackers.

Havertz emerged as a generational talent at Bayer Leverkusen, where he became the club's youngest-ever Bundesliga debutant at 17 and holds the record for reaching 50 and 100 league appearances at the youngest age in German top-flight history. Chelsea signed him in 2020 for £62 million, and he immediately delivered the Champions League title with the only goal in the 2021 final against Manchester City.

In June 2023, Havertz joined Arsenal for £65 million. Under Mikel Arteta he flourished as a forward, contributing to Arsenal's 2025–26 Premier League title. Internationally, he has earned 58 caps and 22 goals for Germany, featuring at UEFA Euro 2020, the 2022 World Cup, and UEFA Euro 2024.
