Luis Romo

Luis Romo is a versatile Mexican midfielder who was named the Liga MX Player of the Tournament during Cruz Azul's championship-winning campaign in 2021, and has earned over 60 caps for the national team.

Romo made his Liga MX debut with Querétaro before joining Cruz Azul in 2020, where he was a key figure in their Guardianes 2021 title win and was recognised as the league's best player that season. He subsequently moved to Monterrey and later returned to Cruz Azul before joining Guadalajara in January 2025.

He has been a regular in the Mexico setup since 2019, winning a bronze medal at the 2020 Olympics and earning 63 caps. He was part of the 2023 Gold Cup-winning squad and the 2025 Nations League winners.
