Álvaro Montero

Álvaro Montero is a professional goalkeeper who plays for Argentine club Vélez Sarsfield, on loan from Millonarios, and represents the Colombia national team.

Montero began his career with San Lorenzo and has since played for various clubs in Colombia, including Deportes Tolima and Millonarios, winning multiple Categoría Primera A titles. He moved on loan to Vélez Sarsfield in Argentina.

He made his international debut for Colombia in 2019 and was named to the squad for the 2024 Copa América.
