Benjamin Nygren

Swedish winger and attacking midfielder who signed with Celtic in June 2025 after developing in Denmark, earning 11 caps and 3 goals for Sweden.

Nygren progressed through IFK Göteborg's youth system before joining Belgian club Genk in 2019 for around €5 million. After loan spells at Heerenveen in the Netherlands, he moved to Danish Superliga club Nordsjælland in 2022, winning the Danish Superliga Team of the Year in 2024–25.

He signed a five-year deal with Celtic in June 2025, winning the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup in his debut season. He made his senior Sweden debut in March 2025 and scored 3 goals in 11 appearances, earning a place at the 2026 World Cup.
