Daniel Svensson

Versatile Swedish defender and midfielder who made a big impression after joining Borussia Dortmund in 2025, earning the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award and selection for the 2026 World Cup.

Svensson spent nearly five seasons at FC Nordsjælland after joining in 2020, accumulating over 125 league appearances for the Danish club. Borussia Dortmund took him on loan in February 2025, converting the deal to permanent in May 2025.

He won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award for April 2025 and was named Swedish Defender of the Year in 2025. He made his Sweden debut in October 2024 and earned 13 caps before selection for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
