David Raum

David Raum is a German left-back and left midfielder who has been a regular for RB Leipzig since 2022, earning the club captaincy by 2025. A full international with over 35 Germany caps, he combines pace with an attacking threat down the flank.

Raum came through SpVgg Greuther Fürth's academy and spent five seasons with their senior side in the 2. Bundesliga, making 94 league appearances. He joined TSG Hoffenheim in 2021 for one Bundesliga season before RB Leipzig signed him in July 2022.

At Leipzig he became captain in August 2025 and accumulated over 111 Bundesliga appearances. Internationally, he won the 2021 UEFA U-21 Championship with Germany's youth side and has since earned 37 senior caps, featuring at the 2022 World Cup and UEFA Euro 2024.
