Johny Placide

Johny Placide is a vastly experienced goalkeeper who has served as Haiti's captain since 2011, earning 82 caps across a professional career spanning Le Havre, Stade de Reims, Guingamp and SC Bastia.

Placide came through the Le Havre academy and became their first-choice goalkeeper, later representing Stade de Reims in Ligue 1 before spells at En Avant Guingamp and Oldham Athletic. He settled at SC Bastia in Ligue 2 from 2021.

A long-serving captain for Haiti, he played for the France Under-21 side earlier in his career before committing to the Caribbean nation, reaching 82 caps and helping Haiti qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
