L'histoire

Keisuke Ōsako is a Japanese goalkeeper who has spent his entire senior career at Sanfrecce Hiroshima, making over 224 league appearances and earning recognition as one of J-League's top custodians. He made his senior Japan debut at the 2019 Copa América and was named to the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.

Ōsako came through Sanfrecce Hiroshima's youth ranks and broke into the first team in 2018. Over more than six seasons he established himself as the club's undisputed first-choice goalkeeper, earning the J.League Best XI award for 2024.

His consistent performances brought repeated national team recognition; he debuted for Japan as a starter against Chile at the 2019 Copa América and went on to accumulate 11 senior caps. He was a member of Japan's EAFF E-1 Championship winning squads in 2022 and 2025, and was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
