L'histoire
Widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time. An eight-time Ballon d'Or winner who captained Argentina to the 2022 World Cup, and Argentina's all-time leader in both caps and goals.
Rising through Barcelona's La Masia academy, Messi spent 17 years at the club (2004–2021), winning 10 La Liga titles and 4 Champions Leagues and becoming Barcelona's all-time top scorer with 672 goals. He claimed four consecutive Ballons d'Or (2009–2012) and formed the famed 'MSN' trident with Neymar and Suárez.
After spells at Paris Saint-Germain (two Ligue 1 titles) and Inter Miami (MLS Cup 2025), his crowning glory came with Argentina: the 2021 Copa América ended a 28-year drought, followed by the 2022 World Cup and the 2024 Copa América.
