Lucas Herrington

Lucas Herrington is a Brisbane-born central defender who transferred to MLS side Colorado Rapids ahead of the 2026 season after a breakthrough campaign at Brisbane Roar. He was part of the Australia U20 squad that won the 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup.

Herrington progressed through youth academies before signing a three-year scholarship with Brisbane Roar in September 2024. He made his senior debut in December 2024 and scored his first goal in January 2025, completing 28 appearances before departing for a club-record fee.

He signed with Colorado Rapids on a contract through 2029, making his MLS debut in February 2026. Herrington earned his first senior cap for Australia in 2026 and was included in the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
