Luis Chávez

Luis Chávez is a Mexican midfielder known for his powerful shooting from distance, who has played in Liga MX, the Russian Premier League, and has been a regular for the national team since 2022.

After coming through at Tijuana, Chávez joined Pachuca in 2019, where he won the Liga MX Apertura 2022 title. He moved to Dynamo Moscow in 2023 and has continued to earn regular game time in Russia.

He has been a consistent presence in Mexico's midfield since 2022, earning 46 caps. He came to wider attention with a memorable long-range free kick against Saudi Arabia at the 2022 World Cup. He was part of the 2023 and 2025 Gold Cup-winning squads.
