Malick Thiaw

Malick Thiaw is a German centre-back who established himself at AC Milan after starting out at Schalke 04, before a £30 million move to Newcastle United in 2025. He has earned 5 senior Germany caps and brings versatility as he can also play at right-back.

Thiaw made his professional debut at Schalke 04, making 57 league appearances and helping them win the 2. Bundesliga in 2021–22. AC Milan signed him in 2022 and he became a regular starter over three seasons, making 63 Serie A appearances.

Newcastle United acquired him in 2025 for a reported £30 million. Internationally, he has featured in the Germany senior team since 2023, accumulating 5 caps, and was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
