Mohammed Amoura

Mohamed Amoura is an Algerian striker who plays for VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, one of Algeria's most prolific international scorers in recent years.

Amoura began his career at ES Sétif before moving to Switzerland with Lugano, where he won the Swiss Cup in 2021–22. He joined Union Saint-Gilloise and helped them win the Belgian Cup in 2023–24 before a loan move to Wolfsburg became permanent in 2025.

A consistent scorer for Algeria since his debut, he has amassed 44 caps and 19 goals, including a hat-trick against an unnamed opponent in March 2025.
