Rodrigo de Paul

An industrious and creative central midfielder, De Paul is one of the most-capped active Argentina internationals. His relentless pressing, passing range, and leadership have made him indispensable across Argentina's three successive major-title victories.

After early career stints at Racing Club and Valencia, De Paul spent five seasons at Udinese building a reputation as one of Serie A's best midfielders. Atlético Madrid signed him in 2021, and he spent four seasons there before moving to Inter Miami CF in 2025, where he reunited with Lionel Messi and won the 2025 MLS Cup.

A regular for Argentina since 2018, De Paul was part of the squads that won the 2021 Copa América, 2022 World Cup, and 2024 Copa América, earning a place in the Team of the Tournament at both Copa América editions. He finished third at the 2019 Copa América. As of June 2026 he has 87 caps.
