Saman Ghoddos

Saman Ghoddos is a Swedish-born Iranian international midfielder who played five seasons at Brentford in England before moving to the UAE with Kalba FC in 2024.

Born in Malmö, Ghoddos came to prominence at Östersunds FK, winning the Svenska Cupen in 2016–17, before moving to French club Amiens. He joined Brentford initially on loan in 2020 then permanently, earning promotion to the Premier League with the club in 2021.

Having chosen to represent Iran internationally after two Sweden caps, he has gone on to earn 68 caps and 3 goals for Iran and featured at the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups.
