Štěpán Chaloupek

Young Czech centre-back and defensive midfielder from Teplice who signed a four-year contract with Slavia Prague in January 2024. Won back-to-back Czech First League titles and earned 5 senior Czech caps heading into the 2026 World Cup.

Chaloupek was born in Meziboří and came through Teplice's academy, captaining the under-19 side. He made his senior debut in the 2021–22 Czech Cup and progressed into the first team, being named Teplice's best player for the 2023–24 season. In January 2024 he signed a four-year deal with Slavia Prague effective from June 2024.

At Slavia he immediately contributed to a successful era, winning two consecutive Czech First League titles. He is noted for his composure in one-on-one duels, aerial ability, and constructive passing. He earned 5 caps for the Czech Republic and was included in the 2026 World Cup squad.
