Viktor Johansson

Swedish goalkeeper named the best in the Championship after four standout seasons at Rotherham United, who moved to Stoke City in 2024 and earned selection for the 2026 World Cup.

Johansson developed through the Hammarby and Aston Villa academies before spending time at Leicester City. He joined Rotherham United in September 2020, helping them win promotion to the Championship and the EFL Trophy in 2021–22, earning three Player of the Season awards over four seasons.

He joined Stoke City in May 2024 and was named Player of the Year in his debut season, also winning the Swedish Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2024 and 2025. He earned his first Sweden senior cap in October 2023 and earned 12 caps, earning selection to the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
