Aiden O'Neill

Aiden O'Neill is an Australian defensive midfielder who came through Burnley's academy and has built his career across Australia, Belgium, and the United States, earning over 30 caps for the Socceroos.

O'Neill joined Burnley from Brisbane in 2016 and made his Premier League debut against Liverpool, before loan spells at Oldham Athletic and Fleetwood Town. He returned to Australia in 2018 with Central Coast Mariners, then spent three seasons at Melbourne City (2020–2023) winning three A-League Premierships and a Championship.

He moved to Standard Liège in Belgium, serving as captain, before joining New York City FC in April 2025 on a contract through 2028. He made his senior Australia debut in March 2023 and was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
