Alberto Quintero

Alberto Quintero is a veteran Panamanian midfielder who accumulated 141 international caps across a lengthy career that took him through clubs in Spain, Mexico, Peru, and Panama.

Quintero launched his career with Chorrillo before moving to Spain, where he passed through Torrellano, FC Cartagena, and Ontinyent. He subsequently spent time in Mexico with Lobos BUAP, Mérida, and Mineros de Zacatecas, including a 2016 MLS loan to San Jose Earthquakes.

His longest and most prominent club stint came at Peru's Club Universitario de Deportes (2017–2022), where he was a key figure before returning to Panama with Cienciano and later C.D. Plaza Amador.
