Alidu Seidu

Alidu Seidu is a Ghanaian-French right-back who rose through French football at Clermont Foot before earning a move to Stade Rennais in January 2024. He has represented Ghana at the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Seidu joined Clermont's reserve side in 2019 and made his professional debut in Ligue 2 in September 2020, going on to accumulate 72 appearances for the first team. His consistent performances attracted Rennais, who signed him on a deal through 2028.

Since joining Rennes he has featured regularly in Ligue 1 and has established himself as a dependable option in Ghana's defence, earning 17 senior caps and scoring one international goal.
