Anthony Gordon

Anthony Gordon is an English winger who plays for Newcastle United, having joined the club from Everton in January 2023. A dynamic, direct wide player, he was named Newcastle's Player of the Season for 2023–24 and helped the club win the EFL Cup in 2025.

Gordon came through Liverpool's and then Everton's academy, making his senior debut at 16. He established himself as a key attacker at Everton before a £40–45 million move to Newcastle United, where he became one of the Premier League's most consistent wingers and scored a Champions League hat-trick against Qarabağ in February 2026. At international level he earned his first senior England cap and was named Player of the Tournament at the 2023 UEFA Under-21 European Championship, where England won the title. He reached the Euro 2024 final with the senior side and has earned 19 caps, scoring 3 goals.
