Assane Diao

Assane Diao is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Serie A club Como and represents the Senegal national team.

Diao spent his youth career in Spain, breaking into Real Betis's first team in 2023. In January 2025, he transferred to Italian club Como for €12 million.

Born in Senegal, he represented Spain at youth level, winning the 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, before switching his international allegiance to Senegal in March 2025.
