The story
Ben Doak is a young Scottish right winger who became the youngest Scottish player to appear in the Premier League on his Liverpool debut in December 2022. He joined Bournemouth for £20 million in 2025 and made Scotland's 2026 World Cup squad.
Doak came through academies at Dalry Rovers, Ayr United, and Celtic before signing with Liverpool in March 2022. He made history as the youngest Scotsman to play in the Premier League on 26 December 2022. Knee surgery limited his 2023–24 season, and he spent 2024–25 on loan at Middlesbrough, winning EFL Young Player of the Month in November 2024.
Bournemouth signed him permanently for £20 million in August 2025. Doak made his Scotland senior debut in September 2024 against Poland and scored his first international goal against Greece in November 2025, contributing to Scotland's 2026 World Cup qualification campaign.
