Diego Gómez

Diego Gómez is a professional Paraguayan midfielder who plays for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the Paraguay national team.

Gómez began his career with Libertad before transferring to MLS side Inter Miami in 2023. In January 2025, he joined Brighton & Hove Albion, where he was named Young Player of the Season.

He captained Paraguay U23 to victory at the 2024 Pre-Olympic Tournament, won a gold medal at the 2022 South American Games, and scored his first senior international goal against Brazil in September 2024.
