Diego Moreira

A young Belgian left-footed attacker who developed at Benfica's academy and helped win the 2021–22 UEFA Youth League, earning his first senior Belgium caps in 2025 after his FIFA eligibility was confirmed.

Moreira began at Standard Liège before joining Benfica's academy in 2020, where he was part of the squad that won the UEFA Youth League in 2021–22. He later moved to Chelsea and then Lyon before joining Strasbourg in August 2024, where he transitioned from a left-sided attacker to a defensive left-back role.

His FIFA eligibility to represent Belgium was confirmed in May 2025, and he earned his first two senior caps in June 2025. Selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad, he is one of the youngest players in the Belgian group.
