The story
Francis De Vries is a professional left-back who plays for A-League club Auckland FC and the New Zealand national team.
De Vries played college soccer in the United States and spent time in Sweden with IFK Värnamo before joining Auckland FC in 2024, where he won the A-League Men Championship in 2026.
He made his senior international debut for New Zealand in 2021.
