Gonçalo Inácio

Gonçalo Inácio is a Portuguese centre-back who has been a cornerstone of Sporting CP's defence since his debut in 2020, winning three Primeira Liga titles with the club. He made his senior international debut in 2023 and was part of Portugal's Euro 2024 and 2026 World Cup squads.

Inácio came through Sporting CP's academy and made his first-team debut in October 2020, quickly becoming a key figure in the Primeira Liga winning side of 2020–21. Over five seasons he amassed more than 259 competitive appearances for Sporting, earning back-to-back Team of the Year honours in 2023–24 and 2024–25.

He made his Portugal debut in March 2023 and scored a brace in a 9–0 qualifying win over Luxembourg. He won the UEFA Nations League with the national team in 2024–25.
