Hadj Mahmoud is a professional defensive midfielder who plays for Swiss Super League club Lugano and the Tunisia national team.
Mahmoud developed in the youth system of Étoile du Sahel, making his professional debut in 2019. In August 2021, he signed a four-year contract with Swiss Super League side Lugano.
He represents Tunisia internationally at the senior level.
