Hamdy Fathy

An Egyptian defensive midfielder who won three Egyptian Premier League titles and three CAF Champions League trophies with Al Ahly between 2019 and 2023, before moving to Qatar. He has earned 49 caps for the Egyptian national team.

Fathy progressed through Egyptian clubs including Ala'ab Damanhour, ENPPI, and Petrojet before establishing himself at Al Ahly (2019–2023), where he won three Egyptian Premier League titles, two Egypt Cups, and three CAF Champions League titles.

He transferred to Qatar's Al-Wakrah SC, then returned to Al Ahly on loan in 2025 for the FIFA Club World Cup. He has represented Egypt at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (as runner-up) and accrued 49 international caps.
