Hamza Abdelkarim

Hamza Abdelkarim is an Egyptian striker who plays for Barcelona Atletic and reached the senior national team while still a teenager. He emerged from Al Ahly after earlier youth football in Malaysia.

Abdelkarim joined Al Ahly's academy in 2020 and made his professional debut in February 2025, becoming the club's youngest first-team player of the 21st century.

Barcelona initially took him on loan in February 2026 and made the move permanent in June. He had already represented Egypt at under-17 level before making his senior debut in May 2026.
