Idrissa Gana Guèye

Idrissa Gana Guèye is a professional Senegalese footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Premier League club Everton and the Senegal national team.

Gueye spent his early career with Lille, winning a domestic Double in 2011, before playing for Aston Villa and Everton. He spent three seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, winning multiple Ligue 1 titles, before returning to Everton in 2022.

He is Senegal's record appearance holder and was the first player to surpass 100 caps. He helped the Lions of Teranga win the Africa Cup of Nations in 2021 (played January 2022).
