The story

A versatile and athletic Dutch defender and twin brother of Quinten Timber. He excelled at Ajax before joining Arsenal for £34 million in 2023, overcoming an early ACL injury to establish himself as one of the Premier League's best right-backs.

Timber joined Ajax alongside his twin brother in 2014 and made 85 senior appearances, winning two Eredivisie titles and the KNVB Cup. Arsenal signed him in 2023 but an ACL injury in his opening match delayed his impact until the second half of the season.

After his return to fitness, Timber became a key figure in Arsenal's defence, recognised as one of the best right-backs in the world and contributing to the club's 2025–26 Premier League title win. He made his Netherlands senior debut in 2021 and represented the country at the 2022 World Cup and beyond.
