Manaf Younis

An Iraqi centre-back from Tikrit who joined Al-Shorta in 2022 after stints at Salahaddin FC and Al-Karkh, going on to win three consecutive Iraq Stars League titles and two Iraq FA Cups. He has 27 caps for the Iraqi national team.

Younis began his career with Salahaddin FC in 2016 before joining Al-Karkh in 2019, where he won the 2021-22 Iraq FA Cup. He transferred to Al-Shorta in 2022 and became a cornerstone of their dominant period, winning the Iraq Stars League in 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25.

He also won the Iraqi Super Cup in 2022 and the Iraq FA Cup in 2023-24 with Al-Shorta, and played a role in Iraq's 2023 Arabian Gulf Cup victory.
