Marcos Llorente

Marcos Llorente is a versatile Spanish midfielder who has spent his senior career at Atlético Madrid since 2019 after formative years at Real Madrid. He won La Liga with Atlético in 2020–21 and has earned 24 caps for the Spain national team.

Llorente came through Real Madrid's Castilla setup and made his La Liga debut in 2015. He had a loan spell at Alavés in 2016–17 before returning to Real Madrid, where he won the Champions League in 2018 and the Club World Cup twice. Atlético paid £35 million for him in 2019.

At Atlético he reinvented himself as an attacking midfielder, becoming one of La Liga's most dynamic players and helping the club to the 2020–21 title. He has 216 league appearances for the club to date.
