Matthieu Epolo

Matthieu Epolo is a professional goalkeeper who plays for Belgian club Standard Liège and represents the DR Congo national team.

Epolo developed through the academies at Anderlecht and Standard Liège, making his senior debut for Standard in 2024. He gained recognition for keeping six clean sheets in his first eight matches of the 2024–25 season.

Internationally, Epolo represented Belgium at the youth level before switching allegiances to DR Congo in 2025 and earning a spot in their 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
