Maxim De Cuyper

A Belgian full-back who came through Club Brugge's academy, joined Brighton for a five-year deal in July 2025, and earned 18 caps and 4 goals for Belgium after his international debut in June 2024.

De Cuyper developed at Club Brugge from youth level and made his professional debut in February 2020 against Manchester United in the Europa League. Loan spells at Westerlo helped his development before he became a regular for Brugge, winning the Belgian Pro League in 2023–24.

He transferred to Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2025 on a five-year contract. His Belgium debut came in June 2024 and he was named in the Euro 2024 squad; he has since scored four times for the national team in World Cup qualification matches.
