The story
Meshaal Barsham is a Sudan-born goalkeeper for Al Sadd and the Qatar national team.
Barsham came through Al Sadd and gained continental experience with the club, including a start in the 2018 AFC Champions League quarter-finals.
He became Qatar's first-choice goalkeeper during the 2023 Asian Cup triumph and received the tournament's Golden Glove.
