Mohamed Abdelmonem

An Egyptian centre-back who rose through Al Ahly's academy and won multiple domestic and continental honours, including two consecutive CAF Champions League titles. He transferred to French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice in August 2024 and has 33 caps for Egypt.

Abdelmonem developed through Al Ahly's youth system and became a key first-team defender, winning back-to-back Egyptian Premier League titles (2022-23, 2023-24), Egypt Cups, Egyptian Super Cups, and two CAF Champions League trophies. He scored a crucial away goal in the 2023 CAF Champions League final.

In August 2024 he moved to Ligue 1 side OGC Nice. He made his international debut in 2021 and has represented Egypt at the 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, accruing 33 caps.
